Wow wow wow okay I can’t believe this is real. I reached out to Billie Starkz for an interview and she was kind enough to answer some questions for me. If you aren’t yet familiar with her buckle up and get ready because she’s going to take over the wrestling world.
Reading of the Records: You’ve been able to wrestle so many incredible matches against so many talented wrestlers, what’s been your favorite match or experience so far?
Billie Starkz: Wrestling Kylie Rae at Black Label Pro was one of my favorites. I would love to do it again since I’m more experienced now.
RR: Was there a specific moment that you realized you wanted to wrestle?
Billie: Not really a specific moment I just remember watching it growing up and loving it. As time went on I knew it’s all I wanted to do.
RR: What’s been the biggest challenge of being in the wrestling business at such a young age?
Billie: Just getting people comfortable with me wrestling and sharing a ring with me. Everyone just saw me as a kid when I first started and they were worried about hurting me or my knowledge.
RR: You’ve wrestled all over the independent scene for so many promotions in such a short amount of time, out of the promotions you haven’t wrestled for yet, which is at the top of your list?
Billie: Defy is definitely at the top of my list.
RR: As an upcoming senior myself I’m fascinated that you’ve started your professional wrestling career so young. While most teenagers can barely juggle high school and a part-time job, you’ve been wrestling and going to school full time. What is that like and have you ever regretted starting so young?
Billie: It's really exciting and fun, but a lot of work and focus. I have regretted it sometimes because I miss out seeing my friends and some experiences, but I'm living my dream and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
