Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 takes Wrestlemania Weekend.

Credit: GCW

Joey Janela’s Spring Break 4- which took place over two nights- was one of the most anticipated shows of this weekend. The hype surrounding this event was appropriately placed, and this show delivered in every aspect. Some would struggle to fill a two night show- especially in the midst of an already jam packed weekend- but not Joey Janela and certainly not GCW.

Part one occurred Thursday night with a mind-blowing card and was followed up by part two Friday night.

Part One:

The H8 Club (c) vs The Briscoes vs the Second Gear Crew for the GCW Tag Team Championships

  • Winners: The Briscoes

AR Fox vs Blake Christian

  • Winner: Blake Christian

Mickie James vs Allie Katch

  • Winner: Mickie James

Nick Wayne vs Jordan Oliver vs Jimmy Lloyd vs Gringo Loco vs Alec Price vs Jack Cartwheel vs Ninja Mack in a Scramble

  • Winner: Nick Wayne

X-Pac vs Joey Janela

  • Winner: Joey Janela

Jon Moxley (c) vs AJ Gray for the GCW World Championship

  • Winner: Jon Moxley

Alec Colon (c) vs John Wayne Murdoch for the GCW Ultaraviolent Championship

  • Winner: John Wayne Murdoch

Part one was highly awaited and it lived up to all its excitement. Joey Janela vs X-Pac was a bout everyone was looking forward too, and again, it’s time to give Janela his flowers. In his second match of the day, Jon Moxley brought the barbed wire and the blood to retain his championship. We saw two title changes and a scramble match and were expected to have enough energy for part two the next night.

Part Two:

Chris Dickinson (with Missy Hyatt) vs Matt Cardona (with Chelsea Green)

  • Winner: Chris Dickinson

Tony Deppen vs Biff Busick

  • Winner: Tony Deppen

Jordan Oliver vs Speedball Mike Bailey

  • Winner: Speedball Mike Bailey

EFFY vs Minoru Suzuki

  • Winner: Minoru Suzuki

The Greatest Clusterfuck Battel Royal

  • Winner: The Second Gear Crew

Night two was so much fun. EFFY vs Suzuki was the pinnacle of entertainment, and the Clusterfuck proved great once again.

Overall, Spring Break will probably go down as one of the best events of this weekend. The two part spectacle was at the utmost level of enjoyability, and it’s one fans will remember for a long time. The show gets bigger and better every year, and heading into Wrestlemania weekend in LA next year, Spring Break 7 will be a can’t miss attraction. If you missed any of the action from the last two nights do yourself a favor and watch it immediately. JJSB6 forever.
