“Tell ‘em where I want ‘em!”
“BLOOOOD AND GUTSS”
It’s Wednesday you know what that means… AEW Dynamite brings Blood & Guts live from Detroit on TBS at 8 P.M est.
Tonight’s lineup includes:
A promo from Christian Cage
Orange Cassidy vs Ethan Page
TBS Championship Open Challenge: Jade Cargill defending against Leila Gray
*Blood & Guts Match*
Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Jake Hager, and Daniel Garcia.) vs The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz).
Blood & Guts is not your typical special event match. It features two rings inclosed by a steel cage. One member from each team begins the match, wrestling for five minutes before another wrestler joins the match. A new wrestler enters every two minutes until everyone from each team is in the match. Due to their victory at Forbidden Door, the Jericho Appreciation Society will enter Blood & Guts with the advantage.
The Blood & Guts match has no shortage of big names, however for Claudio Castagnoli, Blood & Guts marks his first match with the Blackpool Combat Club. Handpicked by BCC member, Bryan Danielson, Claudio made his AEW debut at Forbidden Door where he faced Zack Sabre Jr. Everyone in the BCC seem to feel Claudio is the perfect addition…. Everyone that is except for Eddie Kingston.
Eddie Kingston likes about three people on the planet, but his strong disdain for Castagnoli is on another level. Sunday’s Forbidden Door went off the air with Kingston screaming at newly crowned AEW Interim World Champion, Jon Moxley, and refusing to get in the ring if Claudio was there. This hatred seems….. serious. Can Eddie and Claudio put aside their differences for the greater good of Blood & Guts? Or will their personal animosity get in the way of a Blackpool Combat Club win? Find out tonight on TBS.
